With the giant teeth and jaw from the skeletal display of a Plioplatecarpus in the foreground, fifth and sixth grade students from the Gackle-Streeter Elementary School field trip view prehistoric fossils at the North Dakota Heritage Center Thursday in Bismarck. The main gallery will be open through Sunday before closing for renovation as part of the 97,000-square-foot expansion project scheduled to open in November 2014. Children’s events are scheduled for Saturday, October 13, 2012 with a closing ceremony set for 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 14.
